The Eurovignette system will no longer apply in the Netherlands, meaning transport companies will no longer need this vignette to operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) in the country. Instead, a new kilometre-based road charging system will come into effect, requiring all HGVs driving in the Netherlands to register under the new scheme. Companies with unused Eurovignettes that cover dates beyond 30 June 2026 may request refunds, provided the vehicle operates exclusively within the Netherlands.
